The Table Place announces contract for the Hornblower furniture

Nelson's Arm chair, which is remarkably small, has been reproduced along with other copies of original ships' furniture for the exciting epic "Hornblower" by The Table Place Ltd together with their subsidiary company Rutland Cabinet Makers.

Over a year ago the Set Dresser for "Hornblower" spotted The Table Place Ltd in The Factory Shop Guide and contacted Marietta King the Designer and MD to see if they could make the Table and Chairs for the Admiralty scenes.

Table, Chairs, Sideboard and also copies of two different Wash Stands, which fold down for safety on board a sailing ship, were amongst the pieces made by the Cabinet Makers and polishers of this quality Midlands Company based in Oakham, Rutland and in the centre of Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

Now everyone who has Table Place furniture in their homes, and all the company's staff, will be watching the series with an extra interest to see if they can "Spot the Furniture".
